Sitting Bull

His Indian name was Tantanka Yotanka. As medicine man, Sitting Bull brought together the Arapahoes, Cheyennes and Sioux to fight against Custer at Little Big Horn. He then went into exile for five years in Canada. After returning to the reservation in the U.S., Sitting Bull was killed on Dec. 15, 1890, while resisting arrest orders issued by Gen. Miles.
